Queens Park, London

This substantial family home in Queens Park underwent a full internal refurbishment, completed in 2024, with Christiana Syrris Design leading the interior architecture, spatial planning and overall build process from concept through to completion.

At its core, the project explores the balance between contemporary family living and a more character-led decorative approach. The layout was carefully reconfigured to improve flow, proportion and functionality, with a series of considered architectural interventions forming the foundation of the design. Bespoke joinery and detailing were developed throughout, working closely with skilled craftsmen to create pieces that feel integral to the architecture of the home.

The scheme is organised around a sequence of key spaces, including a generous kitchen and dining area designed for everyday living, more formal reception rooms for entertaining, and a series of bedrooms that feel calm and quietly resolved. Layered materials, bespoke joinery and a nuanced use of colour bring depth and cohesion to the interiors.

The result is a home that feels polished yet deeply liveable, elegant without formality.
