Fresnaye, Cape Town
This project in Fresnaye involved a complete reconfiguration of the home’s internal layout, with the studio leading the interior architecture and spatial planning to better support the client’s extensive and carefully curated collection.
Completed in 2020, the project centred on creating a framework for living with collections, allowing each piece to be both appreciated and meaningfully integrated into everyday life. Architectural interventions introduced improved flow and proportion, while the interiors were developed to support a richly layered and highly personal aesthetic.
The home is organised around a series of interconnected living and entertaining spaces, alongside quieter, more contemplative rooms that allow moments of pause.
The result is a home that feels deeply curated, expressive, collected and full of narrative.
